Job Title: Senior Account Manager / Account Manager
Reporting to: Group Account Director

  • Develop constructive and positive relationships with clients
  • Work closely with clients to take and write inspiring creative briefs
  • Work alongside planning, creative, digital and production teams on the delivery of campaigns, plus external media agencies and delivery partners
  • Manage and drive projects throughout the whole project lifecycle, from brief to strategic development, to delivery and evaluation
  • Project management of website projects – UX research, UX planning, UX design, design, build, testing and ongoing maintenance and optimisation
  • Monitor performance of different campaigns across search, social, display and programmatic to guarantee that all KPIs are met and provide recommendations to clients
  • To take responsibility for the quality of creative ideas presented to clients – ensuring factual accuracy and relevancy to the creative brief
  • Identifying and implementing strategies and tactics to drive and build existing accounts
  • Sourcing background information or desk research relevant to the client and brief for existing clients and pitches
  • Co-ordination of all relevant agency staff in the preparation and delivery of strategic plans for clients
  • Able to write clearly and concisely in different styles required by contact reports, business emails, creative and media briefs and proposals
  • Contribute to preparation of tenders and pitches – including gathering of background research, preparing the pitch plan and managing the process
  • Accurate estimating and invoicing, with a commercial focus to deliver profit by controlling costs and time spent on client accounts
  • Complete daily timesheets to help evaluate profitability of all client projects
  • To actively support other members of the team as appropriate

Your responsibilities:

We are looking for someone exceptional who is:

  • Passionate about all forms of communication and understands how different channels work together in the delivery of a successful campaign
  • Thinks strategically with demonstrable understanding of planning principles
  • Already experienced in planning, managing and delivering multi-channel client campaigns, particularly in a B2B environment, with strong digital experience
  • Knowledgeable of the lifecycles of digital projects, and who can manage website builds and online campaigns; display, Social, SEO, PPC, etc.
  • Commercially aware with experience of managing budgets and account finances
  • Understands how to measure communication impact and how campaign success is evaluated
  • Experienced in working with different Content Management Systems, in particular WordPress and Drupal
  • High energy, self-motivated and enthusiastic with real commitment to the job
  • Strives for creative excellence and who has pride in their work
  • Confident and effective in both written and verbal communication
  • A likeable team player and who gains the respect of their colleagues and clients
  • An inspiring individual who is already on the way to the top – because they are bright and intelligent; not because they can turn on the charm

Your role:

Account handlers manage the relationship between the agency and our clients, aiming to add value at all times (this is not an admin job). By understanding in detail your client’s marketplace, their business, and their objectives, you will ensure clients’ marketing needs are met and that effective communications strategies are delivered. You will make things happen; managing the complete process from client brief to budgets and fees.
